Expatriarch Radio #3


50ftwomanExpatriarch ist wieder zurück. Und auch diesmal attackiert Joey Hansom das feiste Patriarchat mit neuem und unveröffentlichtem Material aus den Studios. Emika macht feinsten Dubstep, Sissy Nobby verzehrt sich in Reimen nach Schwänzen, Laurel Halo inszeniert opernhafte Traumlandschaften und der Reggae-Punk von The Slits gibt sich psychoanalytisch. Auch zu hören: Musik von der Elektronik-Pionierin Daphne Oram vom BBC Radiophonic Workshop und die frischesten Nebenprojekte von Fred Schneider und Kate Pierson von The B-52s. Das Highlight der Show kommt allerdings von der Blogstar-Rapperin Dominique Young Unique mit “Show My Ass” -  geremixt von Jay Haze, Premiere in dieser Sendung. Und wie immer kann sich Hansom seine Kommentare nicht verkneifen – zieht Euch warm an, er kommt mit dem Samt-Schlagring eines Dandy Punks. (Die Moderation der Show ist in Englisch.)

English: Expatriarch is back again to damn the man with an auditory assault from women and queer rappers, rockers and producers. Among the new and unreleased material you’ll hear delicate dubstep from Emika, cock-craving rhymes from Sissy Nobby, operatic dreamscapes from Laurel Halo and psychoanalytic reggae-punk from The Slits. Also on board is BBC Radiophonic Workshop founder Daphne Oram, plus the latest side projects from Fred Schneider and Kate Pierson of The B-52s. This month’s highlight, though, comes from blogstar rapper Dominique Young Unique with “Show my Ass”, here in the form of an exclusive, floor-shaking remix by Jay Haze. Joey Hansom moderates with the velveteen touch of a dandy fop.
